ATLAS 0961 Multichannel Battery Interface

ATLAS 0961 MBI is a fully equipped measure device designed to test, analyse and measure parameters of halfcells, cells and rechargeable batteries.

The Instrument consists of 1 to 8 independent units named ICDU (Independent Charge - Discharge Unit). Each of ICDU unit can realise its own analyse program. Battery connected to any ICDU unit can consists of 1 to 8 in serial connected cells.

Number of ICDU units can be individually established for Customer order.

The device works with PC computer which is necessary for programming the device and receiving measurements results. PC computer can be switched off while measuring process is going on.

DEVICE FUNCTIONS:

  • Stationary current battery charge with voltage limit
  • Stationary voltage battery charge with current limit
  • Stationary current battery discharge
  • Measure of cell and battery electromotive force EMF (for Ibat=0) in time progress
  • Independent voltage measurement of all cells in battery
  • Measurement of halfcells voltage with reference electrodes applied
  • Temperature measurement
  • Measure of external probe voltage
  • Creation possibility of arbitrary sequence of charge, discharge and measure processes in time function
  • Limitation of operational process by:
    - time
    - battery voltage
    - cells voltage
    - current of battery
    - temperature
    - voltage from any external probe
    - charge
    - energy
    - combination of upper conditions
  • Possibility of program stopping in condition of temperature value exceeding
  • Possibility of program stopping in condition of external cell voltage exceeding
  • Possibility of read and visualise results in analyse process time
  • Visual signaling of work and alarm status
  • Acoustic signaling of alarms
