ATLAS 0361 Battery and separator measurement system

ATLAS 0361 BSMS is a fully equipped measuring device designed and developed to analyse and measure parameters of membranes, separators and cells of rechargeable batteries.

Device works together with external PC computer which is necessary for programming The Device and to receive measure results. PC computer can be switched off in measure process time.

Controlling of parameters of The Device provides control software A-SMS v.2.1.

DEVICE FUNCTION:

  • Forcing of steady current in positive polarization, I>0 (charge current), between current clamp I cell(+) and I cell(-), with limit of voltage of current cell.
  • Forcing of steady current in negative polarization, I<0 (charge current), between current clamp I cell(+) and I cell(-), with limit of voltage of current cell.
  • Measure of differential potential between electrodes joined to clamps E cell(+) and E cell(-), EMF measure of the cell (at I=0).
  • Measure of cell temperature. The Instrument has temperature probe which works in range (-50°C to +100°C)
  • Programming a function of temperature change of the cell.
  • Measure of resistance in function of temperature changes.
  • Measure of external voltage of any probe connected to clamps EXT of measure head. The Instrument enables connecting of any external probe (temperature, pressure, humidity, pH or other).
  • Stopping step of measure process. Conditions of termination:
    - time of process
    - differential potential of the cell
    - value of current
    - temperature
    - voltage from external probe
  • Possibility of program terminating at temperature condition
  • Possibility of program terminated at certain voltage of external probe
  • Possibility of read and visualise measure results in measure process time.
  • Visual signaling of process state and of alarm condition
  • Acoustic signaling of alarms
