ATLAS 0071 Battery charger & discharger
ATLAS 0071 BCD is a coplete measuring device intended for simultaneous testing and conditioning of 64 batteries. Each of batteries can consist of maximum 12 cells.
The device is cased in EURO 9U case. Individual CDU units, control system and power supplies are made in a form of EURO 3U packets.
Controll of servicing process and settings of the device are supported by device embedded controller and by developed controlling software 0071 BCD v.1.6. The controller has embedded RAM memory to which are saved results of measurements of voltages parameters and for charge for each of 64 batteries. These results can be read from the device after servising is finished.
CDU unit
CDU unit supports charging and discharging of 8 batteries where each of them can consist of 1 to 12 cells.
Functions of the device
- Constant current charging.
- Constant current discharging.
- Battery EMF measurement (at I=0) in time.
- Possibility of forming free-form sequence of charging, discharging, measurements in time steps.
- Limitation of servicing steps, among others of:
- time
- battery voltage
- combination of above-mentioned conditions - Possibility of reading and visualisation of results while research program is executed.
- Visual signaling of operating condition and of alerts.
- Acoustic signaling of alerts.
